Rose-Coloured Glasses

People often speak about rose-coloured glasses.

Much depends on the intentions connected with wearing so-called rose-coloured glasses, supposedly connected with love. Judgment becomes distorted and the senses function differently when artificial “love” obscures the truth.

Optimistic but artificial love hangs in the air. It lasts for three to five years, and afterwards it no longer has the colour or intensity that it once had.

Life then returns to normal, and difficulties sometimes become the normal state.

There have been situations in which, in order to improve someone’s mood, we may have put such glasses on other people.

You have probably heard about the violet flame. Rose-coloured glasses, as non-divine glasses, are energised this time by the group of the “pink flame.”
