“Greetings — you really got it right with this heart matter / I am listening to the prayer Pure Heart — and I think that perhaps one should work through the intentions concerning the heart (I wonder whether there are any), and when I enter MINW, there are Heart intentions — interesting, isn’t it?”

But truly, once again — it is a bullseye. I had barely thought of it in relation to myself — because unattractive emotions were also being thrown out — and here it already was.

In the book Alchemy of Spiritual Development, there is a mention of heart-opening practices. In Eastern and Western shamanism, and in various esoteric movements connected with healing practices, there are methods of activating the thymus gland. Supposedly, practitioners then strike the middle of the chest with their fist because they believe that this stimulates the thymus gland into action. This naturally resembles beating one’s breast in the Catholic Church. According to the author of the book, a certain expert on energetic meridians developed a method of thymus activation which also consists of “beating one’s breast.” In addition, the gesture of striking one’s breast is a sign — theoretically, because it may be insincere — of humility and admission of guilt. Thus, one can see here a practice present in the Catholic Church that has some basis in practices drawn from philosophies based on energy systems.

“My heart dictated high tariffs to all countries trading with the USA,” declared Donald Trump on 11 April 2025. There will probably be a recession in the USA and not only there. I remember that Leszek Żądło said that if he followed his heart, without having purified intentions, he would have killed several people. In this context, such destructive inspirations do not come from a heart full of love.
