The Holy Spirit, or Breaking the Ten Commandments

Let us note that the “Our Father” is the only prayer proposed by Jesus. Yet the word God is missing from it, and in reality it is not known to whom it is addressed.

For many years I was unaware that the Second Commandment of the Ten Commandments had been deliberately changed in 1917 into one permitting a concession toward idolatry, nor was I aware that the “Holy Spirit” was an idea introduced into the social media of that time only by Jesus. Thus, it was introduced exclusively into one religious sect then being created — Christianity. No such concept exists in any other culture or religion.

It is true that there are several religions and cultures which worship the dead and Spirits. The Chinese were leaders in this, having small altars in their homes dedicated to the Spirits of their ancestors. There are also Asian cultures in which the dead are dug up from time to time, or funerals are arranged for them many years after their death.

On a certain internet website Link, we can read:

“Since Jehovah’s Witnesses regard Jesus as a god with a lowercase ‘g,’ they are polytheists, because they believe in two gods: a greater one, with an uppercase ‘G,’ and a lesser one, with a lowercase ‘g.’ By rejecting faith in the One God in Three Persons, they thereby fall into polytheism.”

This thought is a peculiar intellectual gem Link. We find within it a bidding contest over which deity is better for celebration: a two-headed or a three-headed one. The author of this criticism directed against Jehovah’s Witnesses loses logic completely into areas not yet explored. What is missing is an understanding of the Second Commandment of the Ten Commandments Link, which the Book of Exodus 20:2–17 gives in the following wording, unchanged after all for 3,300 years:

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is on the earth beneath, or of those things that are in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them.”

In the Ten Commandments of Moses, the worship of anyone other than God is forbidden. There is no loophole there for deities, for Jesus, for his Holy Family or for his group of companions.

The illustration below comes from the comic book “The Boys” and accurately reflects the logic of what takes place in the world of Souls. Figures such as the one in the picture, called “Our Father” and the Holy Spirit, do not necessarily have to be anyone other than astral acquaintances of Jesus.
