Divine Mirror – prayer

Open my heart now, God.

I now forgive myself for the fact that within me and within my Soul — as in a mirror — evil, poverty, misery, illness, suffering, pain, and wrongdoing were reflected. I now forgive myself for the fact that within me and within my Soul — as in a mirror — lawlessness and wickedness were reflected.

Release me now, God, through Your love, from guilt, from punishing myself, from being punished for the fact that within me and within my Soul — as in a mirror — evil, poverty, misery, illness, suffering, pain, and wrongdoing were once reflected. Release me now, God, through Your love, from looking at myself in mirrors of wickedness and evil, in mirrors of suffering, illness, misery, and deprivation.

I forgive myself for having once, together with my own Soul, looked at myself in the mirrors of drunken people, in the mirrors of addicts and alcoholics. I forgive myself for the fact that, looking at myself through the eyes of my unconscious parents, I was unable to love myself.

By the power of Your love, God, may such a transformation now take place in my life and in my Soul that I become a mirror in which, when You look, You will see Your own pure energies. Teach me, God, and show me now through Your love how I may become a mirror in which, when You look, You will perceive the manifestation of Your divine love, Your divine light, Your divine kindness, Your divine abundance, and the purity of intention.

May Your love, God, become the mirror in which I behold myself at every moment of my existence.
