Exorcism:
„In Greek, ἐξορκισμός (exorkismos). The word consists of two parts: ἐξ (ex) – 'from, away from,’ and ὅρκος (horkos) – 'oath, vow.’ The word literally means to release from an oath or to release from a vow.”
The conclusion is that possession results from idolatry and from giving others permission to act in this way, whether consciously or while intoxicated, by allowing harmful souls to enter one’s life; by giving them authority over oneself and entrusting oneself to them as gods or other beings placed in God’s position. In other words, it is pure idolatry.
Furthermore, if someone sought help from, for example, a Goa’uld, a deity, extraterrestrials, practiced channeling, or opened themselves to transmissions from alien civilizations that later took control, or prayed to a supposedly „good” deity while entrusting themselves and their affairs to it, then—because permission had been granted—that „good” deity could subsequently do whatever it wished, enslaving the person and taking control over the soul and personality.
People usually hear that possession comes only from evil demons or infernal forces, whereas a supposedly „good” living god, saint, or divine mother would never do such a thing. According to this interpretation, however, this is a misconception, because beings with greater power are simply capable of doing more.
Church exorcisms, according to this view, consist of sending the possessing soul into the hands of other souls. It resembles a struggle or a transfer of authority. For example, let us suppose that Adam’s soul has possessed Mary. Mary goes to an exorcist priest, who performs a ritual and asks Stephen’s soul (or an archangel or some deity) to remove Adam’s soul from Mary. Everything takes place apart from God—God is not directly involved.

From the 2023 documentary Polish Exorcisms (Egzorcyzmy Polskie), we learn that Kujawski cooking oil is not suitable for exorcisms, because the oil must be extra virgin olive oil.
