Homosexuality Between an Older and a Younger Man

In her book entitled “Sodomites”, Elwira Watała described many homosexual relationships between an older and a younger man. She reached back to the homosexual world of Greek antiquity, but also mentioned people from modern times. Homosexuality involving a substantial age difference may bear all the hallmarks of paid sex or a form of overt male prostitution.

What benefits his guardian receives may perhaps be revealed in later episodes of the series. Because of the military enthusiasm of both men, one might presume that they once fought together in the gay Sacred Band of Thebes or among the Janissaries.
