The word (–not) added to a particular word when working with intentions means that it is worth mentioning its opposite or even, during the work itself, independently finding and expressing any synonyms that come to mind together with their opposites.

For example—being poor, ill—it is also advisable to say it together with its opposite

This makes it possible immediately to move a given pattern as broadly as possible in different aspects, including in its opposite.
