Who does God pray to?
The question for Jews and the world of Islam is senseless. Both religious groups will say with one voice that God does not pray to Himself.
In Christianity the matter is not obvious, especially after removing from the Decalogue commandment number 2, which the Book of Exodus 20:2 still gives in the following wording; “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them”.
Link.This divine proposal, however, was replaced with the guidelines of Benedict XV and called similarly the “second commandment of the catechism / divine / Decalogue”. It is promoted in the following wording;

2. “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain”.
Muslims at the beginning of Islam called Christians God’s buddies, because of attributing divinity to Jesus and promoting the cult of this figure. Depending on belonging to a particular group of Christians, someone may therefore believe in at least two gods equal to each other. The questions that people seeking to understand the doctrines have had for centuries could be gathered into several issues. They have already been asked many times: does Jesus still pray to God – does God confirm this? And does God pray to Jesus? Since in the opinion of promoters He is equal to Him. One might wonder whether, instead of being God’s buddy, it is better to be His friend?
It is possible that God cannot pray. Well, how, and to whom would He pray? Aha – I understand the second commandment of the Decalogue literally. I cannot imagine that when the sun is setting, God makes His evening pleasant by listening to the newest version of the recording of the Passion according to St. John. Or a concert under the title “Ave Maria” in quadraphonic quality or a live performance. Nobody probably doubts that He has the best quality sound equipment at His disposal. Or maybe He prefers to find out what the human opinion about Him is? Maybe instead of reciting from memory the text of a chant about the Holy Trinity, God investigates whether the earthly work of creation has any expectations?
If God cannot pray, then He must nevertheless know all the prayers and requests directed to Him since the beginning of the world. He knows what is essential in the content of the chosen words, in syntax, grammar, in logic and in the form of expression. He knows how it was and how it is with the fact that as a result of a prayer-request He, God, changes someone’s fate, and even the fate of the whole world.
Let us therefore ask God to teach us how to pray to God, to remove the temptations of looking for shortcuts leading to Him.
P.S.
I think that God can do everything, and therefore He can also write prayers – but that probably would not be appropriate. On the other hand, what a facilitation that would be. Looking at it differently, perhaps every Soul has had such studies for a long time, only stuffed somewhere we do not know where.

“If therefore every evil word is an object of abhorrence to God, then how great an abhorrence must we consider the evil word of denying God, the evil word of publicly acknowledging a foreign god, the evil oath of a human being, a non-substantial creature? When we are offered to take such an oath, we should recall the words of Jesus: ‘But I tell you, do not swear at all.’ For if one who swears by heaven offends the throne of God, if the one who swears by the earth commits impiety, because he places on a par with God the so-called ‘footstool of God’s feet,’ if the one who swears by his own head sins, then how great an offense should we consider an oath upon someone’s fate? For one must then also remember the following words: ‘On the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word.’ And what word is more useless than an oath that signifies the denial of God?”
